Poems about Teeth

Following on from National Poetry Day we thought we’d have a go at a Tooth poem ourselves:

A Tooth Story

After teething finished, all my baby teeth were white.

And the fairies had a lovely time, collecting them at night.

When I lost my front teeth, I had a cunning plan

‘All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth’ I sang.

Now I’ve got my keepers, adult teeth to chew,

I have to do the things to keep them many, and not few.

I go to see my Dentist and he smiles – ‘Its OK’.

All my teeth are happy and, thank goodness, here to stay.

Its our nod to Pam’s classic – Pam Ayre’s  ‘O I wish I’d looked after my teeth’
