Mike Pawley bought the practice from Robert Gould at the end of 2011 and with the help of the Broad Street Dental Team has modernised every aspect of the business, overseeing its relocation to Broadway House near to the Cathedral.
Although his wife has family roots in Hereford, Mike comes from Leicestershire and studied Dentistry at the University of Manchester where they met when the Hacienda was getting into its stride.
He gained experience working across a range of dental disciplines in the Newcastle and Bristol teaching dental hospitals and in oral and maxillofacial surgery in Hereford. He completed a two year Restorative Dentistry course at St Ann’s in Manchester and has been awarded a distinction in his MSc in Advanced General Dental Practice in Birmingham, having won prizes in Periodontology (gum disease) and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and achieving 85% in his research project.
He has two daughters, plays guitar (really badly), is even worse at golf and is a lifelong member of Leicester Tigers.
